The recognition was part of the 18th ASEAN Youth Day Meeting held in Bangkok, Thailand with the theme “The Power of Youth.”

According to the Youth Commission, Bautista was chosen as one of the awardees because of his outstanding contribution to young people in Asia through his music.

Last week, Bautista was named one of the peace ambassadors in the Philippines.
