The upcoming primetime series “Bukas na Lang Kita Mamahalin” will start taping after its lead stars return to the Philippines from a series of shows in California, according to one of its lead stars, actor Gerald Anderson.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News before flying to the United States on Thursday, Anderson said he is already looking forward to doing the show since his co-star, Rayver Cruz, is a very good friend.

“Six years na po [kaming magkaibigan]. Actually hindi pa ako artista nakilala ko na siya, naka-basketball ko siya. Naging close ko siya doon sa unang US tour namin,” he said.

Cruz, for his part, said he is excited as well since this will be his first time to work on a project with Anderson.

“May kanya-kanya [kaming paghahanda] lalo na si Gerald. Grabe ang paghahanda niya para sa show niya. Ibang ibang gerald na naman ang makikita niyo dito. Excited na kami na mapanood siya ng mga tao,” Cruz explained.

Aside frim Anderson and Cruz, the upcoming series on the Kapamilya network will also include actress Cristine Reyes and sexy star Diana Zubiri.
