Unlike most “couples,” John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo are celebrating their 10th anniversary as an onscreen pair by getting goofy in a series of videos released online.

In a two-part video released Monday via ABS-CBN’s official account on video-sharing site YouTube, Cruz and Alonzo face off in a kissing and stare-down “challenge” as they share their goofy side — a rare sight for the Kapamilya talents who are popular for their dramatic portrayals onscreen.

The online reel is in celebration of the pair’s 10 years as a “love team.”

Since being cast as lawyers-turned-lovers Yuri and Katrina in the 2002 drama series “Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay,” Cruz and Alonzo have starred in five soaps and six films.

Their romance-drama film “The Mistress,” which became a big box-office success after its September release, was their seventh big screen team-up. Later this year, the two will reunite on the small screen via ABS-CBN’s newest primetime series “A Beautiful Affair.”

“For the past 10 years, itong taong ‘to ‘yung ka-share ko sa acting space ko, ka-share ko sa mga eksena ko. At humuhugot din ako sa kanya,” Cruz said of Alonzo in an earlier interview.

“‘Yung ganito ka-special na chemistry, it’s something else. So kung tatanungin mo ko, kung gaano ka-instrumental si Bea sa aking naging career as an actor — malaking part siya ng success ko, malaking part siya ng identity ng kung sino ako as an actor,” he added.
