Actor Diether Ocampo confirmed a report that actress Kris Aquino, who is being romantically linked to him, is helping him look for a new house to buy.

“Alam niyo naman na naghahanap ako ng bahay? Ang bilis niyo naman. Nagha-hunting talaga ako. Naghahanap ako sa Quezon City at saka lumalapit ang pamilya ko. Gusto ko na makapag-pundar,” Ocampo told reporters during his birthday party celebration on Thursday.

“Kung totoong sinamahan niya ako? Oo, sinamahan niya ako. Nagkasama kami. Kasi nag-suggest siya at may kaibigan siyang broker,” the actor added.

Ocampo stressed that Aquino’s help was just a gesture of friendship.

“Alam mo, noong time na ‘yon nagkataon lang talaga, nothing to ano, wala kaming tinatago,” the actor said.

Ocampo said he and Aquino share the same passion, which is to help Filipinos who are in need.

“We share some passion. ‘Yon ‘yong pagtulong sa nangangailangan. At si Kris, siya ‘yong kaibigan na kahit hindi mo madalas makita, kapag kailangan mo ng tulong ay nandiyan siya,” he said.

Ocampo and Aquino became friends after doing the hit horror film “Dalaw.”

Currently, Ocampo is doing the TV series “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin” while Aquino is busy hosting her new talk show “KrisTV.”
