Singer and actor Piolo Pascual celebrated his 35th birthday on “ASAP 2012″ on Sunday.

Pascual performed along with his closest friends from the variety show including Sam Milby, Erik Santos, Gary Valenciano, Jericho Rosales and Christian Bautista.

Pascual said he is grateful for everyone who has helped him reach where he is today.

“Maraming maraming salamat po sa lahat. I’d like to thank all the people who helped me through the years. Salamat sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa akin,” he said.

In a separate interview, Pascual said he had a simple birthday celebration with his family last January 12.

“Nag-church lang kami ng family and then they had a surprise party for me. Exciting kasi hanggang umaga kami na nagkantahan lang nung mga kapatid ko because my whole family was still here. Lahat ng mga pamangkin ko andun, they stayed up until midnight so it was a family event,” he shared.

Asked how it feels to be a year older, Pascual said: “I feel as young as ever. Masaya. A year older but hopefully a year wiser.”
