As the cliche goes, no pain, no gain. And for former Kapamilya singer Rachelle Ann Go, her past relationships have helped her become a more effective singer.
“Mas madali humugot ng emosyon kapag napagdaanan mo ‘yun,” she said.

But Go doesn’t think she became a better artist only because of the pain that she went through.
Go, who remained evasive as she spoke before a pool of reporters on Thursday, refused to directly answer questions about her past relationships with singer Christian Bautista and actor-dancer John Prats.
Go stressed though that she remains friends with Bautista, who will be her guest on her upcoming concert.
“Kami ni Christian okay pa rin ngayon, friends pa rin kami,” she said.
Go also reiterated that nothing romantic happened between her and actor Cesar Montano last year.
Ako mismo, saan nanggaling iyan?” she said.
Montano and Go first became the subject of blind items when they worked together in a show in Vancouver, Canada.
“If I don’t hold her hand kapag siya ay maglalakad or may gagawin, hindi naman ako gentleman noon.
