Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo turns 24 today, July 25, and the Twitter-verse is lighting up with birthday greetings for the popular singer and actress.

As of writing, “Happy birthday Sarah Geronimo” was among the top trending topics in the Philippines on Twitter, despite the ongoing interviews for the next Chief Justice and the granting of bail for former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

Geronimo’s fans took to social media to send their greetings to their idol.

Celebrities, such as fellow singers Juris Fernandez and Callalily frontman Kean Cipriano, also took time out to greet Geronimo.

“Happy birthday, Sarah Geronimo! I wish for more of your dreams to come true! You deserve all the success because your beautiful inside and out!” tweeted fashion designer Rajo Laurel.

YouTube sensations Jamich said, “Magaling kumanta at sumayaw, mahusay umarte, maganda, mabait, humble, charming ♥ Happy Birthday Sarah Geronimo.”

Young singer Rhap Salazar said, “Happy Birthday Sarah Geronimo.. Thanks for being a great friend/Ate since 2005.. You deserve all the blessings.. Love you.”

Even Globe Telecom, which Geronimo endorses, sent its greetings for the star. “Happy Birthday Sarah Geronimo! Go lang nang go in making all your dreams come true!” it said on its official Twitter account.

According to Viva Entertainment, which manages Geronimo, the singer is currently in Bangkok, Thailand, where she is shooting a TV commercial.

“Malayo man, let’s send all our birthday greetings to her! Happy Birthday Sarah Geronimo!” Viva said on Twitter.

Born Sarah Asher Tua Geronimo, the Pop Star Princess joined various singing competitions before finally penetrating show business. She rose to fame after winning the talent search “Star For A Night” in 2003.

To mark her 24th birthday, Geronimo had a two-night concert titled “24/SG” at Big Dome. She also had a month-long birthday celebration on her show “Sarah G Live!” on ABS-CBN.
