Young actor Xian Lim has laughed off rumors saying he is just “using” Vice Ganda to be in the showbiz limelight.

In the “Tanong All You Can” segment of “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Lim said there is no truth to the allegation, adding that he and Vice Ganda are good friends.

“Hindi po. Hindi po iyan totoo. Wala pong gamitan na nangyayari. Kami po ay magkaibigan lang at nagpapasaya po kami ng tao,” he said.

He also answered the question as to whether he is willing to do a kissing scene with Vice Ganda in either a movie or a television project if given the chance.

“Hindi lang naman kay Vice ito. Maybe ang sinasabi mo sa isang lalaki magkaroon ng kissing scene sa isang lalaki. Kung hindi po siya bastos at kung mayroon siyang moral meaning sa story niya, then why not?” he said.

Vice Ganda has been vocal about his admiration for the young actor.

Meanwhile, Lim also broke his silence regarding the issue that he is replacing actor Gerald Anderson as actress Kim Chiu’s newest leading man.

“I’m not here to replace Gerald Anderson. Nandito po kami ni Kim Chiu para magpasaya po ng mga audience. Nandito po ako para gampanan ang aking role na sana po ay magustuhan ng mga mamamayang Pilipino. So sana po magustuhan niyo ang team up namin,” he said.

Lim is one of Chiu’s leading men in the ABS-CBN series “Binondo Girl.”
