More than 2,000 NV Energy customers located near Stephanie Street and Warm Springs Road in Henderson lost power at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

NV Energy officials said they have restored power to approximately 1,000 of the homes as of 8:45 p.m., and are working to restore power to the rest. Officials said they restored power for the rest of the customers at 9:30.

Officials said they are still unsure of what caused the outage.
