Metro Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of robbing a store on Tuesday near Charleston and Lamb boulevards.

The man entered a store on the 4500 block of East Charleston Boulevard, picked up a beverage, walked to the cash register and demanded money, police said.

The man threatened to shoot the clerk if he did not cooperate, police said.

Once the suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money, he fled, police said.

Police describe the man as bald, with brown eyes and a mustache. The suspect stands from 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches and weighs from 180 to 215 pounds, police said.

At the time of the robbery the man was wearing a white shirt, dark pants, gray hooded sweatshirt with black and white stripes on the sleeves and waistband and a watch on the left hand.

Anyone with information can call Metro’s robbery section at 828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555, to remain anonymous.
