TV5 producers chanced upon a motorist – identified as Robert Blair Carabuena, a resourcing supervisor at Philip Morris International – manhandling an on-duty MMDA traffic enforcer. The incident took place at Capitol Hills Drive corner Tandang Sora in Quezon City on Saturday.
In his LinkedIN profile, Carabuena is listed as an alumnus of Ateneo de Manila University and an “experienced recruitment executive.”
As of posting from interaksyon, Carabuena has refused to talk to TV5 regarding the incident.
MMDA officials are helping the enforcer, Saturnino Fabros, to file tomorrow appropriate charges of direct assault against Mr. Carabuena.
WIDESPREAD CONDEMNATION
YouTube comments of the video virtually comprised of nothing but condemnation toward Carabuena.
Some have even gone far as to encourage stalking and badmouthing the person in question in any outlet available– be it FaceBook, house address or cellphone number.
His workplace and position was quickly discovered and posted.
Human Resources Supervisor daw ito sa Philip Morris. For an HR professional, parang hindi yata evident ang people skills nya. Nandyan lang ang office nya sa 27th Floor, Tower One, The Enterprise Centre 6766 Ayala Avenue corner Paseo de Roxas. Madaling hanapin.
The accused’s FaceBook at https://www.facebook.com/blair.carabuena is reportedly inactive already due to the massive backlash. Users also provided personal information.
They were discovered to be revealed in the open, and are not the product of research by U.S. News Las Vegas.
0917 512 1682 ang number niya according to his FB profile
facebook.com/blair.carabuena.5/info
eto daw ang address and phone no.: 09175121682 / 25 Katipunan Ave. Extension, Capitol Homes, QC.
According to further research done by users in the video comments, he is an alumni of Ateneo. Fellow alumnus of Ateneo were one in condemning Carabuena, soundly disowning him.
Robert Blair, ikinakahiya ka ng mga kasalukuyang Atenista.
A darker side of the comments speculated on Carabuena’s possible fate had Rodrigo Duterte, current Vice-Mayor and former Mayor of Davao City been in the mayoral position in Quezon City. This is a reference to how lawless elements are dealt with there– the Davao Death Squad, a vigilante outfit that exterminates criminals, rumored to be handled by Duterte himself, and ironically, the reason for Davao City’s peaceful reputation.
Others laughed at how Raffy persuaded Ben to calm down before he fully unleashed his trademark dissing, reminding him of their time they were suspended by the MTRCB due to heated threats against Raymart Santiago, when the latter assaulted their elder brother Ramon Tulfo.
This scene was perhaps the only funny thing in the video, as evidenced by references of it in the comments.
