NCRPO vows relentless efforts vs wanted criminals

The National Capital Region Police Office vowed on Wednesday relentless pursuit operations against wanted criminals prowling in Metro Manila as it reported the arrest of several personalities facing various complaints in different police stations.

Chief Supt. Leonardo Espina, NCRPO director, cited the coordination being extended by Metro Manila communities to the police in the arrest of undesirable personalities.

“Your police will continue to account for wanted persons. Together, let us move forward in keeping our communities free of criminals,” Espina said.

In Taguig City, notorious robbery suspect Ryan Jay Santos was arrested by joint elements of Police Community Precinct and Barangay Security Force of Bagumbayan on Oct. 1 based on a complaint of Wilfredo Garcia.

When accosted, Santos yielded an improvised handgun and the fighting cock taken from Garcia. Additionally, records of the barangay showed that the suspect has been involved in a string of other robbery incidents in the area.

Ferdinand delos Santos and two other members of the so-called “Dura-Dura” gang were arrested for theft in Barangay San Roque, Marikina City. The suspects were arrested after victim Jeck Tamayo sought assistance from patrolling policemen in the area.

Policemen from the Warrant and Subpoena Section of the Marikina City Police arrested John Hero Vinluan for carnapping with valid warrant of arrest issued by Judge Lily Villareal Biton of the Regional Trial Court Branch 77 of San Mateo, Rizal.

Patrick Adornadoy Marinez was arrested for attempted homicide along Marcos Highway in Mayamot, Antipolo City by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Nestor Gapuzan of MTC Branch 75 of Marikina City, while Jun Concepcion was arrested for robbery at Farmers’ Avenue in Barangay Tumana, Marikina City by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Felix Reyes of RTC Branch 272 of Marikina City.

Elements of the Southern Police District Warrant and Subpoena Section arrested Armando Abellon for estafa in Talon 4, Las Piñas City. The arrest was made by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Erlinda Nicolas-Alvaro of RTC Branch 198 of Las Pinas City.

In Parañaque City, robbery suspect Kharl Angelo Davon was arrested based on the complaint of Evanric Virtuz at Nics Laundry Shop in Barangay San Isidro.
