I am only puzzled why not focus on the headhunting tribe festivities… say how the head hunting tribes came in, in this place. The head hunting tribes in Northern Luzon are the Gaddang and the Ilongot. Their practices should be role playing in the celebration…what are their warlike attitudes…who motivated them to become head hunting and why? Is it not during the Pacification agenda of the American and the incident that happen the murdering of an American Indian in Pinappagan…where an American Indian William Jones who are a victim of discrimination in America and choose to stay in Nueva Vizcaya to study the economic and social activities in the hinterland of Sierra Madre? And the incident have open the gates for recognizing them their freedom in their motherland? Are this Americans have find way of retaliating and inculcating a doctrine of head hunting practices among Villages (pitting)? To absolved them of the responsibility of retaliation of their murdered brother William Jones? Did the responsible Ilongots were being sentence in the Court First Instance in Bayombong? Truly Nueva Vizcaya should have been giving credence of Freedom Province whom our minority brothers in America had been reaping now especially that Pres Obama now the US President. This should be the focus of the activity. And I believe the US government now will focus also of recognizing freedom as the ultimate goal of humanity.
