Every policeman is required to maintain a scorecard as his or her daily guide in the performance of his or her official functions and responsibilities.

Chief Supt. Samuel Mahusay Yordan, deputy regional director for administration (DRDA) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Region 7, stressed this during a briefing with police officers all over the province at Camp Francisco Fernandez Jr. in Agan-an, Sibulan on Thursday.

Yordan was at the Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office (NOPPO) the whole day to cascade the integrated transformation program, performance governance system.

He said the regional command is now in the process of developing an operational dashboard for every police command in the four provinces and tactical dashboard in every police station.

The DRDA explained the policeman will bring along with him the scorecard as his guide on what he is supposed to accomplish in relation to his job as a police officer.

Yordan said Negros Oriental is lucky and fortunate that there is not much report about policemen who are involved in unscrupulous activities, like what happened in Manila.

He attributed this to the fact that most of the policemen are from this province, that would have restrained them from indulging in nefarious activities to protect the integrity of their families and from humiliation.
