An unidentified vehicle rams into a motorcycle from behind, killing the backseat passenger and injuring its driver.

The motorcycle passengers were identified as Nestor Belarmino y Licas, legal age, married, farmer and 2-Reynaldo Ajonan y Licas, 58 y/o, married, Brgy Kagawad of Brgy Canda Ilaya. Both are residents of Brgy Canda Ilaya, Calauag, Quezon.

According to the report from Quezon Province PPO, on September 28, at about 1:00 am, a Suzuki Motorcycle bearing plate number VN-9942 driven by Ajonan together with Belarmino as back passenger was traversing along the dark portion of Maharlika highway at Brgy Binutas, Calauag, Quezon when it was hit from behind by an unidentified vehicle tailing to said motorcycle.

As a result, Belarmino suffered head and body injuries and died instantly while Ajonan sustained minor injuries.

The culprit vehicle remains unidentified.
