West Visayas State University produces 5 topnotchers in 2012 nursing exam

West Visayas State University, the foremost nursing school in Region 6 located in Lapaz district here, has again flexed its academic muscles by sending five of its graduates to the Top Ten in the June 2012 Nursing Licensure Examinations.

The five successful topnotchers out of 27, 823 passers are led by Wyne Steven Zamora who placed 3rd with a rating of 85.20 percent; Joner Bangero at 5th, posting a grade of 84.80 percent; Junie Obariano, 6th place, 84.60 percent; 9th placer Jane Therese Dorilag with 84 percent; and Carl Jason Canete, who grabbed the 10th spot with 83.80 percent.

Acclaimed as one of the finest state universities in the country today, WVSU has consistently produced topnotchers and high passing rates in both the Nursing and Medical Board Examinations through the years.
