A week-long bowling tournament in celebration of the Masskara Festival here will start on Oct. 13 in two different venues.

The “Masskara Invitational and National Open Trio Bowling Tournament” will be held at the Superlanes of the Goldenfield Commercial complex and at New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley, respectively.

The Active Solid Strikers Fellowship Bowlers, Inc. is organizing the regional (invitational) duckpin championship to be held at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley on Oct. 13-14.

On the other hand, the Kami Mga Hubin Bowling Club/Micro Asia-sponsored national open competition will start Oct. 17 at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex.

National duckpin players from Metro Manila, Visayas and Mindanao will vie for the top prize in the individual and team events hosted by two local ball clubs as part of this year’s Masskara Festival celebration that will be contested in the men and women’s divisions.

The KMHBC tournament chaired by Robbie Elegado is sanctioned by the Philippine Duckpin Bowling Council.

PHIDBC Regional Commissioner for Visayas Sonny Elegado said Philippine Duckpin Bowling Council format, rules and regulation will be applied in the KMHBC activity.
