Visiting team Tatand-Andro and Makati Panthers won the Lopue’s Open 2011 held over the weekend at the Lopue’s Table Tennis Center here.

Tatand-Andro beat host Lopue’s A in the men’s team event, while Makati Panthers A prevailed over Tatand in the women’s side.

Makati Panthers beat Metta-Donic B in the battle for third place in men’s event and turned back Bacolod A for the same honors in the women’s department.

The tournament drew participation from top paddlers in the country including current and former national team members.

Other teams that saw action in the two-day event were, Shanghai Siopao (Manila), Tatand-Joola (Manila), Imperium-Donic, Hua Ching (Cebu), Ad Marketing (Bacolod), Misortta (Cagayan de Oro), CSB-ATC Health Care (Manila), UNO-R, and host LOPTTA.

LOPTTA is headed by Leonito “Diotay” Lopue.
